Suvi-Tuuli Kataja – In Podcast Productions THE AUDIO IS A NARRATIVE

Suvi Tuuli Kataja is a director, screenwriter and sound designer. She is specialised in new and experimental audio storytelling. Kataja’s work has been awarded both in Finland and internationally.

Her latest work, ‘Naisen kosto’ podcast, has attracted high audience numbers. Naisen Kosto podcast is also a Prix Europa 2020 nominee, and earlier this year it was showcased in The International Feature conference.

 

 

 

 


Simo Rokka – Producing audio for VR  Dramas and Documentaries; from Field  Recording to Post-Production

Simo Rokka has worked since 2008 as a Sound designer in Finnish broadcasting company Yle. Working mainly in drama TV-series, VR-productions and video games, he is eager to find new ways to produce sound on different platforms.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Oskar Sadle – Using Avid to Enable Remote Work & Connecting another DAW to ProTools 

Oskar Sadle is an Audio Solutions Specialist at Avid based in Stockholm, Sweden. For the past few years he’s been working as an engineer and producer in the US, joining Avid at the end of 2018.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Marcus Tikkanen & Niko Mansikka-aho – Working remotely as a songwriter/producer before and during Covid-19 

Niko Mansikka-aho and Marcus Tikkanen are part of a band and a team called Sunset Strangler with LA based Seth Reger. All together the songs created by this team have streamed over 100 million in total.

The group has worked with artists such as Ava Max, Charlie Wilson, Elley Duhe, Donny Osmond. They also currently work closely with a Grammy-winning production team “Stereotypes” who are known for producing hits for artists such as Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Far East Movement.
